Geddy Court is a fully occupied 1950s built residential block in the Gidea Park conservation area. We were appointed Principal Contractor by the Contract Administrator Glenny LLP on behalf of the Client Siger Ltd. The bulk of the work on this project consisted of masonry repairs and re-pointing along with elements of roof work, cleaning and redecoration.

Full access was provided by utilising independent scaffold which had to overseil both neighbouring properties. The scaffold was designed to that no weight was placed on either roof, avoiding any damage or disputes.

Working closely with the client surveyors, all of the repairs were scheduled up and costed very early in the programme, which greatly assisted in planning and allowed the project to come in under budget.

Noisy and disruptive works were programmed and executed with the residents safety and comfort in mind.
