Gunning London Ltd are proud to have carried out the restaurant refurbishment at the iconic Grade I Listed National Portrait Gallery. A full refurbishment programme was carried out to include new bar, joinery, electrics, banquette seating, timber floor refurbishment, lighting and redecoration. The restaurant was closed for the duration of the work but the gallery remained open meaning that all deliveries needed to be programmed in and carried out very carefully.

The work was carried out in a very short time period utilising a large proportion of out of hours working.

Constant monitoring and communication regarding the financial standing of the project meant that the final account came in on budget.

Constant care was taken as the building was in use by staff and visitors, not to mention the countless items of priceless art on show.

The quality and end result of the project was very high and in keeping with this Grade I listed building.
