T Gunning were appointed to create three new consultation rooms on the first floor of the Student Services Department of the London College of Fashion. Works comprised new stud walls and dry lining, new lighting and small power distribution, and new doors. Short timescales were required to complete the project before the end of the summer break.

All stud walling and dry lining work was completed Out Of Hours – during nights and weekends – to avoid disruption to the staff and other building users.

The choice of lighting layout and fixtures was selected by T Gunning as part of the ‘Contractor Design’ element of the project.

The corridor and building remained in use throughout, with the work area being segregated by full length polythene sheeting.
