The full external refurbishment of this site at St Katherines Dock, South East London. The works included the use of differing types of access equipment including cherry pickers, scaffold, scissor access and ladder work. The works included full external redecoration, carpentry, brickwork , mastic and cleaning of all masonry.
Working next to water brought its own challenges including the site access provision and liaison with the Port of London authority to ensure all RAMS were agreed before works commenced.
Working in multiple locations ensured the delivery of this contract on time, budget and programme.
The use of abseilers to provide access to areas not able to be accessed by conventional equipment.
Very tight area on site in which to work meant the area had to be managed on a daily basis with daily liaison being carried out by our on site (non-working) management team.
